How to navigate Cargobase?

Find Quote Requests, Booked Shipments, Invoices to be submitted, and more.

Providers have the ability to utilize Cargobase to monitor Quote Requests from Shippers, view booked shipments, and manage invoices awaiting action. This process is streamlined through the convenient Universal Search and Sidebar features available on the platform.

Using Universal Search

Located at the top left of the screen, above the Sidebar, the Universal Search feature allows users to easily search for any reference numbers and directly access the corresponding transactions.

What is a searchable reference number?

A searchable reference number serves as a distinctive identification code that enables users to locate a specific transaction item. The following fields contain reference numbers that can be searched through the Universal Search:

  • Quick Request ID
  • Quote Request ID
  • Shipment ID
  • Invoice ID
  • Shipment Title
  • Tracking References

The platform saves the last five searches and the last five visits for quick and easy access to repeated searches.

How to look up a reference number?

  1. Click the Universal Search field and enter the reference number you want to look up.
  2. If the reference number is not found, the message "No results found" will be displayed.
  3. If the reference number is found, the corresponding transactions will be listed.
  4. Click the item you want to view, and you will be brought to the corresponding page.

Using the Sidebar

The Sidebar, located on the left side of the screen, is your go-to menu for quick and easy access to all list views and essential features. It contains clickable icons that provide shortcuts to various functions within the platform.

How to expand the sidebar for full titles?

The side menu bar can be expanded to view the full title of each section.

  1. Go to the left side of the screen. The sidebar is collapsed by default.
  2. Click the icon '>' to expand and view the section titles.

Which pages can be accessed through the sidebar menu?

  • Dashboard: a configurable overview of transactions by status with map and calendar views.
  • Quote Request: list views of Quote Requests by status with configurable columns and filters.
  • Shipments: list views of Shipments by status with configurable columns and filters.
  • Invoices: list views of Invoices by status with configurable columns and filters.
  • Analytics: aggregated data visualisation and report download of raw data in Excel format.
  • Resolution Center: list views of actions requested from the Shipper (E.g. Quote Confirmation Requests).
  • Feedback: a form to share suggestions about the Cargobase product and its features.
  • Settings: a page to view and adjust personal and admin configuration settings.
  • Log out: a button to log out of Cargobase.
