Adding tracking references on Cargobase enables shippers to easily track the status of their shipments. Simply input the tracking references to initiate the tracking process.
Go to the Shipments module on the sidebar. Click on any shipment that you wish to update the tracking references on.
If no tracking references have been added to the shipment yet, a red alert message will be displayed, as shown in the image below.
Click on the button, Add tracking number which is seen on the red alert message or on the tracking section.Select the type of reference depending on the service provided, such as Container Number, MAWB Number, Truck Number, or any Other tracking Number, and Save the information:
Once the tracking references are updated, the Shipper will also receive these updates as messages on the communication window on the right side of the screen.
- You can add more than one tracking reference when necessary, just select Add tracking number to do so.
- Click on the Edit button if the reference number need to be updated.
For Providers with a direct integration with Cargobase, the tracking events are displayed automatically once a tracking reference is provided. Contact Cargobase Support for more information about integration.
