General
The mobile app is aimed at easy navigation with lots of detail in a relatively tiny space. The app is divided into a few basic pages:
The dashboard, the page you land on after logging in
List pages; Pages that show lists of requests, shipments or invoices.
Detail pages; Pages that show the details of the request, shipments or invoices.
The dashboard and list pages are all accessible via the ‘tab-bar’ in the bottom of your screen. From those list pages, you can retrieve the items you're after and go into the detail. If you want to navigate back to a list, or dashboard you can either tap the ‘back’ icon on the top left of the page, or you simply ‘swipe’ from the left side of your screen, to the right.
If you have found a request, shipment or invoice that you like and you want to review the next, instead of navigating back to the list first; you can also rely on the ‘forward’ and ‘backward’ buttons on the top right of that detail page. This will allow you to move <> based on the list that was displayed before.
Some of the list views are only available to some users
Requests / Quick request: Requires the Can View Quick Requests permission. This is available to Shippers only.
Requests / Quote request: Requires the Can View Quote Request permission. This is available to Shippers and Providers.
Approvals / Approval requests: Requires the ‘Can Be An Approver’ permission. This is available to Shippers only.
Approvals / Invoices: Requires the ‘Can Be Invoice Auditor’ permission. This is available to Shippers only.
Shipments: Requires the ‘Can View Shipments’ permission.
Larger Screens - iPads
Some mobile devices have some more pixels on offer and we're happy to make use of those. When the app identifies wider screens, it will split the real estate. The dashboard will display it's information in two columns for just a better overview.
On list views, we'll make sure to share the list on the left side of your screen, and the detail on the right. This allows you to get a quick overview of what's next while also looking at the detail of a request, shipment or invoice.
