Submit a Proof of Pickup (POP)

How to submit a proof of pickup for your shipments in Cargobase?

Cargobase gives logistics service providers (Provider) the ability to update shipments tracking manually through Tracking page or via integration.

Once a shipment is picked up, the Provider can kick start the tracking process by submitting a Proof of Pickup (POP) in Cargobase. Shipments updated with a POP are marked with the 'In Transit' status.

Submitting Proof of Pickup (POP) is optional. You may check with your Shippers to confirm if it is required to submit a POP.

To submit a POP, click on the Submit proof of pick up/delivery button  at the top right corner of your screen:

When submitting the proof of pickup,  you will have to provide the date and time of pick up. Simply click on the Confirm button to securely share this information with the Shipper.

'Booked' Shipments that have been updated with a Proof of Pickup (POP) will be designated with the status of 'In Transit'.

'Delayed' Shipments that have been updated with a Proof of Pickup (POP) will still remain as 'Delayed'.

If the shipment is picked up and delivered on the same day, you may submit Proof of Pickup (POP) and Proof of Delivery (POD) at the same time by selecting Pick up and Delivery.

When a Proof of Pickup (POP) is submitted by Provider, Shipper and Provider will receive a notification from Cargobase. You may refer to the sample screenshot below:
