Cargobase now enables pickup and delivery contact users to receive notifications prior to pickup and delivery events, ensuring they are informed and can prepare effectively.
Where to find the pickup / delivery contact information of my request?
During Quote Request creation:
After Quote Request created/ Shipment is booked, in the 'Shipment Details' tab:
How to Configure the Notifications
You can manage this setting from your shipper account under:
Settings → Notifications → Shipment Notifications → Custom Settings : Go to Notification Settings
Personal Only:
Receive email updates only for shipments which you have been assigned as Pickup/ Delivery contact.
Team Notifications:
Receive email updates for shipments your team colleagues have added others as Pickup/ Delivery contact.
Notifications Off:
Opt out of receiving pre-pickup and delivery notifications entirely.
Scroll down the list and find 'Pre-pickup and delivery updates':
Pickup Contact
Pre-pickup notification will be sent to the pickup contact:
- After shipment is booked - acknowledgement
- 24 hours before pickup

Delivery Contact
Delivery notification will be sent to the delivery contact:
- After shipment is booked - acknowledgement

This feature is exclusively available to current Cargobase users. If you are not a Cargobase user, you can be added as a Guest user by the Shipper after the shipment has been booked.
If this feature is not visible in your Notifications Setting, please reach out to Cargobase Support or your Customer Success Manager (CSM) for assistance in enabling it for your account.
