How to add a Guest User after shipment is booked?

Guest users, whether internal or external, can view a specific shipment's tracking page, providing visibility without full platform access.

Steps to Add a Guest User

  1. Ensure shipment is booked.

    Guest users can only be added after a shipment is booked successfully.

  2. Select a shipment from the list of ongoing shipments.

  3. Click on the action button located in the top right corner of the Tracking page

  4. Select Guest access from the dropdown menu.

  5. A Manage Access popup window will appear.

  6. Enter the email address of the person you’d like to invite as a guest.

  7. Click Invite.

  8. The guest will receive an email invitation with a link to access the tracking page of the shipment.

If the Guest user invited is not a registered Cargobase guest user, they will be guided through a quick sign-up process to gain a guest user access.

Accessibility of a Guest User:

Guest User only has access to the Tracking page and may share comments and documents related to the invited shipments.
