The universal search option is available on the mobile app and works the same way you're used to from the web platform. Type in any value, and you'll see either Requests, Shipments or Invoices returned. To ensure we do not show multiple variations of the same result, we'll always show the shipment result in case that's available. If you are actually more interested in the request details, you can always open the shipment and simply navigate to the corresponding request via the details section of the shipments page.
