Communicating with your Shipper

How to communicate with your Shipper in Cargobase?

As a Provider, you will be able to communicate with your Shipper on Cargobase directly. There are 3 modules which you can do this: Quote Requests, Shipments and Invoices

Quote Requests

Under each Quote Request, you will find the 'Comments' section which you can utilize to communicate to Shipper or Internal Team.

Shipments

Once a shipment is booked, you may communicate with your Shipper to make arrangements on pickup or delivery or update them on the shipment status. You may share files with the Shipper here as well. This tool can be found in each booked shipment, located on the right side of the screen.

Invoices

Once an invoice is submitted or approved, you will be able to post comments to the Shipper.

Always maintain one form of communication with the Shipper to avoid miscommunication or missed communication. It is preferable to use Cargobase for communication with Shipper since all the shipment related data are available on the portal.
