When Automatic Booking Is Available
Automatic booking can be enabled for shipments that are rated using predefined rate cards. Because pricing and service selection are already established, Cargobase can automatically select and book the appropriate carrier service without requiring manual review.
When Automatic Booking Is Not Available
Spot-quoted shipments cannot be automatically booked.
Spot quotes often contain significant variations in pricing, transit times, service levels, and carrier options. As a result, these shipments require review and selection before a booking can be made.
