The shipper submits the quote request with an expiration time, much the same as when you create a quotation with an expiration date. This prevents the illusion of perpetual pricing on shipments.

Providers can no longer quote on shipments after a quote request closes.
That is why it is important to check the expiration timer in the right top corner of the quote request when you received a notification.ย
